- STALKER SoC
There's others, but STALKER's always my go to when I don't know what I fancy playing.
Don't just stand there, STALKER. Come in.

For some reason, I always go back to Red Faction Guerilla, especially the Wrecking Crew mode. Of course also different flavors of Civilization, those always hook me for hundreds of hours.
Other than that probably Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2, the only game out there that can´t be improved in my opinion.
Remembering how much time I spent in the 80's playing AD&D Treasure of Tarmin on the Intellivision, then downloading the Vol.3 emulator package and getting to do it all over again in Minotaur! It runs in Win7 64-bit, I don't know how.
The arcade version of Raiden
FFVI
Any LookingGlass/Irrational game. Specifically Thief series.
Diablo II
Making massive trouble in any GTA game.
Sins of a Solar Empire
Getting Black Knight weapons in Dark Souls.
WoW 3.3.5. private server Remember Auberdine!!
A lot of 16 bit era games, just stuff you can pick up instantly and play for about 20 mins to an hour.
I typically play Knight of the Old Republic once a year as well as Dragon Age: Origins. I also at some point every year play through both the Portal games. I bet I've beaten Portal 1 at this point over 25 times or more.

Pretty much any AD&D game that allows for total party creation - Gold Box, IE, anything else. I've also been digging deep into Crusader Kings 2 and it's reminding me how much of a strategy gamer I used to be... so yeah, that's starting up again.
Oh god. Any game that features an in-depth character creation system will suck me in for hours before I even begin the game proper.
Fallout 3, Skyrim, Killing Floor, ArmA 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty 4 MP, Grand Theft Auto 4, and probably a couple of other games.

Company of Heroes, Plant vs Zombies seem to be a must anytime i rebuild, or buy a computer.
Yeah I always run Plants vs Zombies after a fresh upgrade to test my hardware xD
I don't think there's ever been a game that I haven't been bored of that I keep going back to. Even the games I love there comes a time when I am tired of it and will stop playing but after a few months I will go back and play again. Does that count?
I won't say I don't get bored of it, but I always come back to the main Pokémon games once or twice a year and go on a binge. I don't care how old I get, I will always love Pokémon. Excited for X and Y!
Feels dull to mention it because I already brought it up in another thread, but Forza 4. That game's probably my biggest timesink on the 360 after Skyrim. I still have to break out that game to slap together a new paint job or do the latest round of rival events every few weeks.

mass effect 1 & 2.
never get tired of these two games.
for what reason? i don't fucking know.

I would say any game that is in my top 5 of all time.

Mine has to be the fallout games. Whenever I cant figure out what to play I can always rely on those games to have fun with.
Excellent taste :D.
My favorite is still probably Fallout 2. Whatever is next for the franchise should be interesting; it always seemed like 3 and New Vegas were compromised in terms of how much of a world could be represented within a 3d environment (having to reload to enter buildings). And things like traveling between areas seemed to fall short of the elegance in just switching to a overworld map.
