I played Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and its sequel Alien Crossfire enough to know I love them now they won't run on my computer I wish they were on steam or something so I could play them a bunch. They were games made in between Civilization 2 and 3 set in Space after the space race in Civilization when you reached Alpha Centauri.  Just wondering if there are some games that other people love can't play anymore and would buy immediately if they were available digitally?

Sim Ant.

Though to be honest, I doubt I'd pay more than 2 dollars for it, and I'd much rather a remake.

Oh god, I wish all SWAT games were on Steam. Those games can keep me entertained for weeks.

I'd also like a download version of Operation Flashpoint CWC now that I think of it.

I am waiting for GOG to offer a Win7-compatible version of Planescape Torment. I'd totally buy that.

Take 2's "Ripper". That was one heck of a FMV game and brilliantly executed. Hopefully GoG gets hold of it sooner or later, considering they've snagged quite a few of the good old FMV games of the 90's.

I'd also like a version of Westwoods Blade Runner since getting it to run on Win7 is quite the hassle.

RockBand 2 would probably be the best game to be able to boot-up whenever. Also, FFIX :)

This. I don't get why it's not on Steam. I've heard it's amazing, and would buy it in a second if it showed up.

I'm still waiting for Sim City and Sim Tower to appear on Steam. I don't want to use EA's shitty service.

Sim Farm. That game is amazing :D
There are tweaks to get any old game to run in Windows 7.
For example, I play Deus Ex on windows 7 64 bit without a hitch :D

Ultima VII

One that works exactly like it used to back on my old 486. You can kind of get it running now with Exult, but the sound doesn't work, and it plays kind of weird.

Quest for Glory (all of 'em), Willy Beamish, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, and Gazillionaire, though newer versions of Gazillionaire are available, so I shouldn't bitch too much.

Warcraft:  Orcs and Humans, without having to use dosbox, and with a slightly modernized interface and multiplayer support.  Basically like Warcraft II Battle.net edition but for Warcraft 1
