Of the 5 games i'm picking up between now and years end:
Batman Arkham City
Saints Row the Third
I'm most excited for Uncharted 3 because i know it'll deliver followed by Batman. But im in Gears mode now given that it comes out in 2 weeks
Probably Forza, I really need a good racing game to play, especially after GT5 was such a crushing disappointment.
I'm looking forward to playing through Halo again too, but I'm not super excited about it.. and I've really been put off Arkham City because of the amount of pre-order DLC. I'm going to wait for a GoTY version now (or at least a massive price drop).
I feel like I've got a really solid idea of what to expect when it comes to BF3 and GoW3, so I'm going with Saints Row the Third. The game looks to be the gamiest game, which is something the industry is sorely lacking. Strange that self-awareness in videogames has become such an appealing commodity as the medium strives ever close to cinematic grandeur and photorealism.
Rage is also up there for me. I get the feeling it's going to really surprise people and that what they've shown of the game so far is hardly indicative of what to expect.
Because I'm building a computer in four weeks, I'm also super hyped (perhaps moreso than any other current release) to play:
-The Witcher 2
In all of their glory. I'm gonna be a busy motherfucker.
I've pre-ordered Gears of War 3 and Space Marine, but Skyrim is all I will be playing from November 11th until infinity.
