Allright, if you guys could pick only ONE game to have this time of year (new releases and such) which game would you buy?
I don't have as much time for gaming as I used to. So I kinda wanna get some bang for my buck. Do you think Borderlands might be my best bet? (I love me some co-op and I love guns, I mean who doesn't love guns?! Hippies, that's who)
Give me your opinions
Love,
Justin... Sala..
EDIT Shit, sorry, I forgot I only have 360/PC/DS! But if you would still like to voice your opinion on other systems, please be my guest!
If I could only pick one game...
Yeah my only problem is that I've been reading Brutal Legend's single player (My main interest in that game) is only like 6 hours long... I feel like that game warrants a rental. Man, I love Tim Schafer so much it makes me sad that I don't want to buy that game so much.

If you trail off to explore and to side missions, find all the legends, free the bound serpents etc. I can see it lasting around 10-12 hours. But really everything Ryan said in his review is true, theres only four or so different types of side missions, so unless you really love the look of the environment you probably aren't going to feel the need to explore.
" Dragon Age Origins is interesting me the most at the moment, but I have to say I'm not impressed with the visuals. "Why do I always forget that that game is coming out! I am a huuuge bioware fan. Yeah, the visuals look good but the art style doesn't look super good or anything. It looks kinda generic in the art department. However, the game itself looks awesome!
From the games that were released this year, I would have a tough time picking between Batman: Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 2, but I think I'd take Uncharted. For games to come, definitely Assassin\s Creed 2.
I'd have to go with Borderlands. You will most definitely get your money's worth. Although Dragons Age will also be a good one, tough decision you have to make.
I think if you dig multiplayer games then go for either Borderlands or Left 4 Dead 2 but if you don't really care for multiplayer games then go for Batman Arkham Asylum.
