Lollipop chainsaw??

I just ran into this: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201107/21047067.html. It looks like something new from Grasshopper Manufacture, but since I don't know a lot of Japanese it's kinda hard to decipher. Still, I always love the crazy stuff that comes from those guys. How about you guys? are you interested?
 

Juliet is a cheerleader zombie hunter from a long line of zombie hunters. She uses cheerleading inspired moves and chainsaws to kill zombies. Suda is the creative director and Akiria Yamaoka is on music again. Also there is a decapitated head.

Based on the premise and the Suda name attached, I'm intrigued.  If Suda gets someone else to make the gameplay again, I'm down.

I am sold on this game. I will buy anything Suda puts out.

All they need is decent advertising to avoid a SotD bomb again.

I dunno... right at the bottom in the link there's a big "PS3" and "Xbox 360" tag. Hmmm... I wonder... maybe... could it be... the return of the Dreamcast?

I feel like this is another No More Heroes situation where it is more well received in America. So yeah, I think it will.

I wonder what the save point will be. In NMH it was toilets. In Killer7 it was televisions. In SotD it was demon crap. I can only imagine what it will be now. The locker room?

Man... I'll never get this hate when it comes to Suda being Suda. Is it cool that he teamed up with Mikami? Sure is. Is the gameplay better because of it? Probably...

But look at the sales. If I'm not messing up my timelines here, No More Heroes shipped 200,000 and sold 100,000 in the same time frame Shadows sold like 30,000.

It's not like the man is incompetent and there is no market for his craziness. That said I'd love it if this plays well, but I'll get it regardless because someone gotta pay that man's medical bills.

They've already said they have an overseas publisher ready to release the game here when it's done, but they're not revealing who it is.

No interest in this. Grasshopper couldn't make a great game even with Mikami assisting.

Keep in mind that this is Suda 51 we're talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if he was programming this game to run on DOS-V.

Already love it, also makes me want to buy Shadows of the Damned even more.

Not that i'm complaining, but who keeps giving Suda money?

I feel like this game sort of has the same premise as those stupid wii and 360 games where you played as chicks with samurai swords killing zombies. I hope that Grasshopper's distinct style will make this game separate itself from the rest

When I dropped some knowledge on them bustas they even pre-ordered some for themselves. EA dropped the ball big time on that release.
