Even though they are both classified as fighting games, they are quite different.
Just youtube a few gameplay videos for each and decide for yourself
Personally I love me some HD Remix but lately all my time is spent in McV2
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Or Street Fighter 2 HD Remix?
Definitely Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. HD Remix is fun but playing online is almost impossible now if you aren't really good at fighters. I have at least won a couple matches with Marvel Vs. Capcom. :p
Only own HD Remix at the moment and not sure if I'm willing to spend the bones for MvC2 just yet. I did originally own MvC2 for the Dreamcast back in the day though and it was hella fun, but that was a while ago and not sure I can pass judgement until I've properly played MvC2 again.
More people are playing MvC2. I tried to get some online going in HDR but barely anyone was playing anymore.
HD Remix every time, MvC2 is a fantastic game but it's got nothing on HD Remix. Who cares if it doesn't have 56 characters? MvC2 only has 56 characters at the expense of it being at all balance, HD Remix is very well balanced and very finely tuned. It represents the absolute pinnacle of fighting games.
I've got hundreds of hours out of it to date, and that's not including the thousands of hours i've spent with other versions of SFII over the years.
I'm gonna go with HD remix, both are great. I think more people are picking MvC2 because it is fresher in their memory.
" Personally I love me some HD Remix but lately all my time is spent in McV2 "That makes you a hypocrite.
Whoa! 50/50 vote.
I choose Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
I just felt like typing that whole thing.
