This deal is pretty cool, but I have another deal I just spotted today. I booted up my 360 for a couple rounds of halo reach before work and microsoft had a promo on my dashboard. Spend $100 plus tax on a 2 year gold subscription and they'll gift you 1600 microsoft points. I did it of course, but don't know if they have the same deal in other territories (I'm in Canada).
Not to mention they're also giving away MSP if you take out (or resume) a 12 month or 24 month XBL subscription. You get 800MSP and 1600MSP respectively, if I remember correctly.
Maybe it's just me, but the whole Game Feast block this year really doesn't interest me. Maybe Super Meat Boy will if I look into it more, but the only downloadable title I'm currently looking forward to is Costume Quest. Seriously.
And that's not a jab at the other games (which I said earlier, just don't interest me), but it's just at the unique kind of creativity that really seems to be behind Costume Quest that draws me to it. It seems to have the perfect balance of style and fun as well as some decent core gameplay to back it up, judging from the Quick Look.
I loved Oblivion, but never bought any of the DLC. There was a time when I was thinking of playing through Shivering Isles. But that game is so old now, that may never happen for me.
Looks like this will be a good opportunity to pick up a couple of arcade games that I've been putting off buying for so long. But which ones to purchase? There are so many to choose from. Hmmm.......
