Most Disappointing Game

what's your game that could have been great but it was ok or sucked. my is killzone and assassin's creed. 

Assassin's Creed for me too.  It just got way too repetitive. 

I found Assassin's Creed disappointing too.  Others are Driv3r, Kane & Lynch, Half-Life 2 probably gonna get flamed for that one, but I didn't like it), and Call of Duty 3

Assasins creed was a great game!!! But each to his own i guess...

I have a few for different Genre's

MMORPG: Richard Garriots Tabula Rasa... Coming from wow this one didn't live up to my expectations of MMO's.
FPS: Crysis... yeah i know people will hate me for this one but i never really got into it.. It wasn't THAT bad, but didn't live up to my expectations.
RTS: Age of Empires 3... I was expecting big things for this one.. didn't take the cake for me)
ACTION/ADVENTURE: Max Payne 2... I loved Max Payne, number 2 didn't do it for me.

Deus Ex 2 was a HUGE downer for me. The first game was awesome.

Shadowrun... amazing feature to face pc gamers.. and console gamers.. but the game lacked variety..

Halo 2 - Horrible single player, embarrassingly bad level design, average online.
Kotor 2 - Weaker characters, weaker story, g0-t0(ugh...), unfinished ending, buggy, bad framerate, unbalanced.

for me it's knights of honor. it's my most favorite game and at the same time most disappointing. bacause of no new updates even after 3 years.

I couldn't get into Bioshock..

Halo 3-The game sucks

Gears of War - complete let down, so much so I traded in the Collectors Edition about 2 weeks after I bought it...

Oblivion.

GTA IV.. looking back their was so much more they could have done in that game. i really cbf playing that game again..and i was sooo looking forward to that game before it came out.

I'll most likely get flamed for this but I hated the first Halo. I'm a fan of FPS but for some reason I just never enjoyed playing that game...I'll most likely end up hooking up my old xbox and giving it another go but at the time I couldn't be bothered to pick the control back up and finish the game.

I loved the first couple Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, and I thought that Tony Hawk's Underground was great. But Tony Hawk's Underground 2 was where the series took a 90 degree nose dive and I completely lost interest. The game felt like an episode of Viva La Bam and when you actually got to skateboard, it wasn't really any fun, the mechanical was overplayed by that point.

And I also got to mention Sonic 06, which  was not only a piece of trash, but I actually had some expectations for the game. How stupid of me. When I first saw the game at E3 06 I thought "wow, this looks like Sonic Adventure without the annoying extra characters whose levels weren't nearly as entertaining as Sonics". Little did I know that the game would actually be broken.

TimeSplitter's 2. Bought it used at EB Games last year... returned it the next day, it was lame.

Bioshock, Halo 2, Crysis.

I would say Bioshock. I expected it to be amazing with all of the hype it was getting, but it ended up being just another shooter with magic powers IMO.

Hype can kill a game ya know...  don't get sucked in.

Every Tony Hawk game after 4, Halo 2, Dragon Blade, Batallion Wars, GTA IV,

Soul calibur legends, It hurts me to call such trash a soul calibur game.

halo 2, kotor 2, fable(project ego was about 50 times what fable was)

AC and GTAIV,

both got repetitive and boring and had little replay value...

Why is someone mad at the games I put down when everyone is basically saying the same things.....hypocritical bastards.

Wii Golf. 

Halo 3 I didnt like very much, got boring, BF Bad Company is also somewhat a let down.

assassin's creed...they could have made it much better, but i guess it was just a lead up to the sequel.

Oblivion was baaaaaad. I also extremely disliked Mass Effect.

Eragon- Just repetitive killing with no variety attacks
Hulk (2003)- Repetitive  to the max
Spider-Man 2 (PC)- They purposely made the PC  version crap cos they thought only little kids would play games on their computers.

assassins's creed was awful. I was disappointed with the new unreal tournament game,too.

Halo 3.

Alone in the Dark was quite a letdown.
I still enjoyed it, yeah... but it's not what it was hyped up to be.

I don't think it was all too hyped to start with, it had potential IMO but it needs way more time.

Deus Ex 2.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. And Prince of PErsia Warrior Within - the sands of time was so awesome and then they went emo

DMC2 - I beat it with both characters in a few hours and returned it saying it didn't work.

Turok - I don't know why but I really wanted to like this game. I couldn't beat this game fast enough.

Recently, Killzone and Brute Force were my 2 big games of last gen that failed me.

B.R.E.E.D, good premise but woeful execution.

Crysis, good graphics, good sound but I don't get the feeling I want to play it again.
