my sister has a ps3 at her house with very few ps3 games. so i was thinking, not being a ps3 owner myself, what are the must have ps3/psn titles? now some of these will be the same games that are published on other systems. what i am looking for are ps3 exclusives that a 360 owner such as myself or someone who doesn't pay a lot of attention to games may have missed.
i'll start:
uncharted
must have ps3/psn titles

Katamari Forever
Uncharted 2
3D dot game heroes
In my case, a week long rental of Heavy Rain was really fun, but I can't say if I would pay 60$ for it.
just wanted to second infamous again, it's a great game and every ps3 owner should have it. I also have to say that resistance 1's story grabbed me, I dunno if I'm alone in this but just putting it out there.
I've wanted to try valkyria chronicles for a while but I was just waiting for a cheap used copy before I got it since.
Go out right now. Buy Uncharted 2. If you want more story I guess grab the first one too. But for ps3 owners Uncharted 2 is a MUST HAVE
"How did you come to conclude that HR's plot was a mess? Were you inebriated?Heavy Rain? If you're not bothered by a crime film having a mess of a plot, you could go with it.
Heavy Rain was an all-around excellent PS3 title.
Additionally, I'm still playing Bad Company 2. It is, in my opinion, the best multiplayer shooter on consoles right now.
Okay, let's go on with four problems.
Remember how they've promised that everything would depend on the player? They took this freedom away from you when Shelby kills Manfred, but that's not a problem. The problem is the lame, five second-long sequence they pulled to have an excuse when that happened. Come on. It could've been done in many better ways, but instead they lead us to believe Shelby did it with telekinesis and the only hint of it is that he looks a tiny bit unfocused after Lauren looks at him again.
Ethan's blackouts looked like something big and then they delete themselves from the plot without explanation why did they even happen. Okay, they've put a red herring in, it's okay, but it's a crime not to explain that stuff when it's featured as a major plot point.
Madison reacts to the truth behind the Origami Killer with complete shock - that makes no sense, since she meets Shelby for the first time during the ending and that doesn't even need to be the case. So why does that happen? They've forgotten half of the script?
Also - and that is the smallest problem - what kind of dumb parent keeps evidence from the police when their kid's life is in danger? How did they expect the police to find them? Yeah, it makes much more sense to give stuff that could matter to a complete stranger who had been allegedly hired by the dead kids' families, but fails to produce any confirmation of this fact.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. How come didn't you see this problems? Where you inebriated, not paying attention or blinded by the hype?
I admire what Heavy Rain set out to do, since the presentation and narration is top-notch. But I can't seriously recommend a mystery game that happens to have problems with its mystery. A Fahrenheit has been pulled again, albeit a minor one. Or rather less egregious, but not less infuriating.
