Overall, what do you enjoy more in games?

single player for sure. while i'm a multi player person, the enjoyment that you can get out of a single player experience is unbeatable 

Single player. To me, multiplayer can be fun, but I just love the beauty and drama of a solitary experience.

Mostly single player, but it depends on the game. A single player TF2 would be dull, and I love me some TF2. 
 
However, I like long campaigns. I'm thinking Total War/Civilization/Elder Scrolls type longevity. And of course there's dynamic campaigns like in IL2: Sturmovik which are just awesome when they work right.
 
It's also nice to be able to play at my own pace and not have to keep up with everyone all the time. If I want to get up and go use the bathroom I can just hit ESC and bring up the game menu, not so in multiplayer where you may be kicked off the server for being AFK for too long.

It depends so much on the genre of the game, so this is a tough question.

Singleplayer is where it's at. I much prefer a decent narrative to incessant whining. I do love multiplayer but it's just not the same.

multiplayer. i cant stand playing through a single player more than twice some times. and multiplayer gives me a good break

Single Player, though I do play a lot of Multiplayer if I like the game (Read: Halo Reach)
