Yeah I remember reading this somewhere, some places do it and I'm sure I remember reading that PSN store does this. It will reappear in a couple days or however long it usually takes your bank to refund credit cards.

Aye, fraudsters also always charge a [Pound, Dollar, Euro, Yen] to your credit card. That's how they get found out by the Credit Card company.

They test out using tiny payments to make sure that the card works, this is actually in the hope that the Credit Card company will think it's a company, after that they will start charging large amounts.
