Surreal seeing my tweet in a forum post... anyway yeah. Stoked Rorie is getting more work, one of my favorite writers out there and just an all around great guy.

I think Jeff or whoever would be in charge of such things is the real traitor for not hiring Rorie.

But he also mentioned at some point that they were "talking to a guy" or something like that when he was asked about expanding the crew.

I enjoy the Matt Rorie.

He also wrote the Guild Wars 2 guide for them a few months ago.

Now that Rorie is doing game reviews I think a certain website about video games should hire him.

I for one enjoyed Fear Gauntlet, especially Condemned, immensely.

Glad to see he is back in the game! Still, Rorie should totally come to Giantbomb. Hopefully someday....

Because the economy.

There are a ton of great game writers out of work and it is much cheaper to contract them on a freelance basis than employ full time. Unless it is Polygon then nobody is hiring.

If GB is smart they will not be pressing for new staff, they should be lobbying for a freelance budget or interns. Much more likely to get that.

As so many here ... I wish they could just hire him. I never visited the-website-we-dont-mention-anymore, but I really liked Rorie.

I'm really disappointed with the lack of puppies in this review.
