@gunslingerpanda: All that said, I wouldn't really believe anything unless a fellow runner came forward and said something, and even then I kinda doubt they would in fear that Uyama wouldn't want them back.

I think it's probably somewhere between him being forcibly removed because of Siglemic/somebody else didn't want him there or there are health issues someone there has to keep an eye on and he was forced to go to sleep because of it.

I don't know. There's just too little we know. He -had- been up for a long time. While it's possible Siglemic asked for him to go, they could have easily just had him go in the other room where there's a view of the stream(the other room where people practice). I find it hard to believe his request would get him to go to sleep. He could maybe get him to go in another room, but I have a feeling there's more to him going to sleep than that. Clearly many of them are his friend; so, maybe they were just urging him to get some rest. That isn't unheard of.

Someone there might be watching out for him, as well; so, we don't know.

Also, I cannot wait for Dustforce, that game is just lovely. It'll be very nice to watch some of those harder levels being sped through (especially the final locked levels).

I don't know much about this Siglemic guy but I got a vibe from him that I didn't like that much. All of the runners were pretty fun about complying with donaters silly requests and I remember one right before the mario stuff where they asked sig to do something and he just sat there not even acknowledging the request one way or the other.

As that person mentioned, Dustforce with this announcer is very relaxing...

Man, how did they get behind on the schedule so badly? I thought at one point yesterday they were ahead by like an hour.

Wouldnt it be because they added the donation incentive that if they got $1000 (I think) then we'd get the Ocarina of Time run which wasnt originally in the schedule? I assume that would push everything back.

There's been a lot of bonus games added to the schedule.

I've been muckin' around on that stream since...the 26 and my sleep schedule has been BODIED. I'm pretty positive that I'm going to become some sort of mindless zombie once everything is said and done.

You know, I really don't want to sound like an ass but the guy you talk about in the Superman shirt bugs me. He's not bothering anyone (haven't watched much of the Rayman run yet) but seeing him dress up in full Link and Ash (with a stuffed Pikachu) costumes it's just like... c'mon, man, stop living up to the gamer stereotype.

I've never been one to watch speedruns, but I have to say, these speedruns are a joy to watch. The level of execution, knowledge and endurance these runners posses is incredible. What a beautiful display of skill we're seeing.

I just wanted to say good job duders for getting Ryans name in Dark Souls and also Taswell in FF4 (I know it's not official yet but I doubt it'll get sniped in the next hour) Have to finally stop and sleep now but was awesome chatting to everyone about it here!

Whew I was afraid I'd miss the beginning of FF4! Stupid work getting in the way of my horrible sleeping decisions.

Yolo gets thrown around way too often on this thing in general and I recall AGDQ being the same way. A horrible black mark on an otherwise fantastic event.

@villainy: If I already didn't know these guys were all sweethearts they would be the kind of people I'd avoid. Wearing sunglasses inside un-ironically and using Yolo.

I've really enjoyed this, and I'm gonna have to go back and watch some that I missed. Now for FFIV and TP!

Also, for those wondering, most of the delay today has been due to connection issues in the hotel. They started losing connection to the stream and somewhat losing frames; so, they had to delay until they got the technical issues worked out. They paused any runs during the day when problems arose.

Kind of a shame they're running the US FFIV. I had kind of assumed it would be hard type.

This seemed appropriate to drag up.

The last half of that FFIV run got super weird. I've never seen it before that was crazy! They did the ending perfectly for those of us who had no clue what as going on haha.

I'm already remembering why I never finished Twilight Princess, so this run has that going for it. Once this is over, I have some runs I missed that I need to watch. Dark Souls chief among them.
