By seeing those screen shots I can predict that this game will have fairly stiff animations and will be smack dab in the middle of an uncanny valley. 
In other words: it doesn't look that good graphically, and that main dude looks like a freaking punk.

Where has this anything to the consistent and melancholic atmosphere and artwork of the Team Ico games?

  I think the trailer does a better job at highlighting its similarities with The Last Guardian. Just realized it's being made by the company behind Folklore, that would explain the look of the companion.

I like my realms to be stable.

But where The Last Guardian already had me hooked with cat eagle baby thing from the first screenshots...that Majin looks....ahhh...mediocre...

Saying Team ICO has competition is foolish...The Last Guardian is going to destroy that game.
 
EDIT: Wow, I posted that and I looked it over and it actually reads like I was serious, I'm being sarcastic on the last two lines.
 
BTW people were bringing up ICO because you posted "someone was me"too"ing ICO" which was the first game, and you do guide a chick through the game.

I didn't say it was going to surpass or even equal Last Guardian. Its a Namco game, so it certainly won't. But I'd rather they make a poor man's Last Guardian than what they normally make. I never said it'd be stiff competition. I just like the idea of more people doing shit like this. Jimminy jilakers, internet.
