Six reviews and only one top critic.

It won't stay there for long.

That doesn't mean much since there are only 6 reviews so far.  It does seem like an interesting idea for a movie though.

I think a better indication of how good a movie is would be from the RT Community average. In this case...65%.

Looks like another Comedy that thinks it better than slapstick because its "witty" and "distinguished".  Just because the plot is boring and the characters are smartasses doesn't exempt the film from being garbage.

Agreed with the above, it will soon change as it has only been out for a little while.

6 reviews doesn't mean much like everyone already said, its going to be in the 70 to 80s most likely.

@Brunchies: I think it will end up being lower than that. The community has it at 65% right now, and the critic ratings will probably come in lower than that. My guess is somewhere in the 50-something range.

Louis C.K. + Ricky Gervais = interested.

Also, trusting the community reviews isn't any better.  A lot of that community can be extremely sour in rating things solely because this actress or that actor or this director worked on it and they may not like those people.  Seriously, notice that most of the reviews are either 100% or 0%...with only two that are midway.  The community meter is NEVER a good way to find a critical opinion.

I'm still going to watch it.  The cast looks pretty good (aside from Jonah Hill), and while I don't like Ricky Gervais' performance in The Office, I find his stand up and barrel of laughs.

The other Ricky Gervais movie, Ghost Town was surprisingly pretty good. Maybe this one will be too, who knows?
