Video game myths
A thought has just occurred to me: the MythBusters have never tackled any video game myths. I know, it's random, but just let me go with it. Here's the question: can you guys even think of any video game related myths? Let me start things:
Does blowing on the cartridge really work?
Can you run and jump on walls a la Ubisoft games?
Anything else is welcome.
well dammit. I cant explain that post. but if uve watched the boondocks you know. But a direct video game one... yea cartridge blowing.
oh i didnt know you meant like things in games as much as about games or the industry. hmm do people really stand still like in rpgs?
Will eating a red mushroom make you grow, will eating a green one give you an extra life, will eating an orange flower give you fire breathing abilities.
How would they test that?
(imitating Adam) "Well, Jamie, I think we could just hook up Buster to some World of Warcraft and....see what happens."
*transforms into Robotnik, puts on beret* (imitating Jamie) "Sounds like a plan."

"*laugh* Zaaackly like that. Hee hee... Robotnik. It's topical and true!
We all were. The truck would not move, Pikablu did not exist, the grass beyond the fence did not hide the rarest Pokemon you could imagine, and Gary was not cooler in Pokemon Green.
" If player 1 is on top, player 2 can't get it pregnant. Ya know. Cuz of gravity and stuff. That is why vertical is always better than horizontal. "hahaha, thats great.
Its not purely video game related but, does sitting too close to the television send you blind? I've never heard of anyone going blind.

"I remember all of those things from first and second grade. And then it was revealed that PikaBlu was just Marill, a crappy water pokemon and I was crushed.
" @Video_Game_King said:Same. Marill was so lame, but he grew on me eventually." @Br3adfan: We all were. In another note I can't wait for Heart Gold and Soul Silver!
