As for blog ideas I would love to hear more about the life of the engineers and the stuff that they do. We barley get to hear about what you guys do, and I personally loved the live stream when you guys launch the new giant bomb site this year and talked about new features and what not. It could be neat maybe to have playsbacks where you talk about how you thought of certain features, how it worked out. Or even just general shit about what you all do. You can easily tie in stuff about the new sites with this. Whenever you guys want to announce a new feature, improvements, or anything pick an engineer to talk about it and maybe talk about how it came to be. I think you guys deserve some spotlight.
I think it would be neat to have a community spotlight/shout out where once a week a different crew remember from each site talks about one thing, or a few things they thought the community recently did that was awesome. So one week Jeff would talk about why he liked a video someone made, the next week Rorie would talk about a blog post someone made, etc. It could even been once a month. I feel it would be a feature that would work for these sites, because all of them seem to have tight communities that feel connected to the crew.
Finally I think another weekly/monthly feature that would be cool is basically have a feature called "My Favorite Whiskey Media Moment" or something. It could just be where fans of the sites write about their favorite moment on the sites. It could be anything from a funny moment on TNT, their favorite video on tested, or a great forum thread they were a part of on ComicVine. It could be something where you focus on one user and his experience, or have 3 peoples memories in one post.
I have a few other ideas so ill update any. I am pretty excited about what is coming, this sounds like it can be fun.
