That guy was cool, what is he doing now?
What ever happened to Shane from EGM?

He left games journalism and went into the development side. He is now Director of Business Development for Ignition Entertainment." That guy was cool, what is he doing now? "

He does ListenUp when they are at conventions or whenever they are in LA (where Shane now lives). He did an episode during E3 this year." @Asurastrike: Wow, does he still ever so Listen Up or 1up Yours? (What ever they call it) "

EGM is coming back, but it is no longer associated with 1up. " @Asurastrike: Nice, is there any way EGM will ever come back? "
other then the guys on giant bomb, shane is probably my favorite video game journalist (if thats what they are called)...if hes back on EGM when they come back, i will surely subscribe again
Shane was on one of the ListenUp from E3, too. And, from what I understand, part of his job at Ignition is suggesting what games are worth bringing to North America. He may have had something to do with Ignitions purchase of the Muramasa, or maybe not...but he was working there when that went down. He was on a video over at Gametrailers too talking about Nostalgia for the DS.

Doubt it, though they've confirmed Sushi-X is coming back...whatever that means." other then the guys on giant bomb, shane is probably my favorite video game journalist (if thats what they are called)...if hes back on EGM when they come back, i will surely subscribe again "
But no, Shane is in greener pastures now, using his passion for Japanese gaming to help publish obscurer niche games here in the West. I think trying to write for the new EGM would be a "you can't go back home" scenario. He seems pretty chill and happy whenever he's appeared on ListenUp since leaving 1Up.com.
