What should i get instead of alpha protocol

 Reading shitty reviews and watching them it's clear stealth is broken and combat is horrible. Ouch! And these guys are doing New Vegas. Geez Reviewers way to wreck my pre-order for new fallout as well!

So what should i get rpg wise?

RPG wise? I'm not sure... Red Dead Redemption is pretty sweet though.  Everybody's going nuts about that (including me).  If you haven't played Dragon Age: Origins, I've heard that was good (not my cup of tea).  I'd recommend Mass Effect 2 but since that's in your avatar, I can assume you've already played that.

I'd wait for the Witcher 2 next year as for the next rpg. It looks really good. APB is also comming.

Neverwinter Nights 2 + expansions. Reminds yourself what Obsidian is good at.

Well I wouldn't call New Vegas a bust yet. It has some of the original team working on it and Bethesda is watching over it. I trust the team enough on both developing side and publishing side to get the job done. 
 
But to answer your question, I'm not too into RPGs but I do like the Penny Arcade games if you're into Turn Based RPGs.

Deus Ex. From what I can gather, it's Alpha Protocol in first person but good. Don't know how bad AP is, but Deus Ex is amazing.
