With Giantbomb being considerably smaller than other gaming sites their coverage of the event was pretty limited. Of course there were the bombcasts which I listened to but for the live streams of the press-conferences and show floor dev-demos I went to Gamespot. I very rarely visit Gamespot these days but I thought they did a really good job last year. So were you a hardcore Giantbomb follower or did you go to another site?
PS. Here's hoping to a Giantbomb live stream this year.
Where did you go for last year's e3 coverage?
I wish Giant Bomb would put more effort into big events. I mean, guessing by the new staff writers, they do have the manpower. Some kind of feature page would be nice (utilise www.giantbomb.com/features) or anything that just news posts tagged with 'E3'.
As a result I expect I'll be begrudgingly heading back to Gamespot.
I think I went to IGN, same with the year before that if I'm not mistaken. Although not to use the site, that would be insanity, just to watch the streams.
I think I was watched the pressers on G4 and Gamespot, and rewatched the Sony conference on PSN after the fact. 1Up and bombcast were rocking the podcasts.
This year G4 has an exclusive for streaming on the show floor, and TWiT has worked out a deal with them to stream as well. So I'll be watching Leo Lapporte and the TWiT crew for their broadcasts from 12 to 2, and then switch to the G4 stream when the TWiT stream goes down.
IGN. Although Gamespot was like a minute ahead of them in their stream, although Gamespots Stream was pixelated.
G4, but correct me if im wrong, but arent the conferences gonna be on Spike this year?
Cus i got Spike HD...
IGN, i missed everything live.. and IGN was the first to put up the replay's so them. And i havent really decided where im going this year..
