I would like to see anyone make Wappy Dog 2.
Who would you want to see a kickstarter from?

@SamFo said:WOW why are so you judgmental they are onyl the biggest developers around because they have to get in bed with big publishers to even get work DUH don't you know how the games industry worked before kickstarter? but now, we can liberate them and help them make the games that they always wanted ot make why are you raining on everyon'es parade??@Jumanji said:
Blizzard - Diablo 3... I would really love to see the Rogue class make a comeback and I think for $10-20 million we could make it happen.
EA/DICE - Battlefield DLC that fixes jets, lol. Should be maybe $5 million??
Blizzard - Titan: RELEASE IT ALREADY lol. There are sooo many people that play WoW, if they each kick in $10 then we will definitely see Titan before too long.
Treyarch: Call of Duty sequel but split in ww2/contemporary... like, you play Soap's grandfather in WWII and then you play as Soap in a contemporary conflict zone but with flashbakcs and possibly being visited by his grandfather's ghost. this has to be AAA, like $40 million, but this way we can take games development back from BOBBY KOTICK lolAre you serious? These have to be some of the biggest developers around. Really hope you are trolling.
I'd like to see Geoff Crammond do another Grand Prix game.
The fuck are you talking about?!

Yu Suzuki to make Shenmue III. I suppose it would be a lot like the Yakuza games, but I want to finish that story :(
Exactly what I was going to post. I feel .... I feel like I've found a kindred spirit ....
I suppose I would also like to see Troika rise from the dead and continue the Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines games.
Well Jason Anderson is apparently going to be getitng some vig off the InXile Kickstarter so maybe you can go throw him some scraps there.@Origina1Penguin said:

Maybe some of the key people from Bullfrog?
Theme Hospital 2.
I will sell my organs to fund that kickstarter.
God, yes.
I would like to contribute money to projects that are technically in production, but are struggling financially and thus more or less "on hold." Edge of Twilight for example ...
The developer Fuzzyeyes has been working on this game for ages and is still, more or less, doing so. However, the studio suffered severe layoffs a while back and I'm doubtful as to whether or not this game will ever see the light of day.
Also, those in favor of another Deadly Premonition, this is as good as it's gonna get for the time being.
A game where you have to garner support on the internet and in the gaming media to get people to support your game via Kickstarter.
Also the game you're trying to get support for is a game about you trying to get support to make a game via Kickstarter.
So anything?
Retro Game Challenge 2 translated.
Swery's dream game
Conker's Bad Fur Day 2
Battletoads HD
Age of Mythology 2
A Better Godfather 2
A good Superman game
Magicka 2
A game that plays on familiar tropes but has long periods inbetween where you just chat knowingly at the situation Gone with the Blastwave like
On that note Obsidian did say they wished they could make a kickstarter funded game explicitly and asked what kind of game fans want most.

@BlackLagoon: They could, but since it would never happen because that's not the kind of thing that add's to a games sales numbers they won't, however if they did a kickstarter for it and said pay 10 or 15 bucks and you'll get the dlc day 1 for their next game or as close to it as possible then it might actually be a possibility. And seeing as that really bothered me during the time I have played Skyrim I know I'd be down for it.
Also that just seems a bit like saying GM could give you a car if they wanted they're a big wealthy corporation. Or Apple could give you an iPad if they want to. And saying company x could do so and so... if they weren't so intent on making a profit sounds a little whiny and naive to me. Not trying to be insulting. That's just the best way I can put it.
Your free car analogy doesn't really work because we're talking about an addon for product people already paid for. And not really an addon either - more a replacement to fix the shoddy job Bethesda did originally to pad their profits.
This would be premium DLC basically, and Bethesda would in no way need to do a Kickstarter to fund it. Just gaging interest could easily be done by setting up their own conditional preorder page without having to give 5% of the money to Kickstarter. I doubt a lot of people would be intersted though - given the various "day one" DLC debacles, I suspect most would just rage at them for demanding more money for content that easily could have been part of the core game.
A hardcore open-galaxy space sim that is combat focused; none of this pussy having to trade cargo to make any money shit! I want to be a fighter pilot in an armada or a pirate captain in a fast corvette or a goddamn Admiral of a goddamn battleship, and I want total fucking space war!
Between Wasteland 2 and Double Fine Adventure I think most of what I missed is being covered. Maybe a Gold Box style dungeon crawler or something.
There's a Kickstarter project to create a 3rd edition of a video game history book called High Score. It's got 10 days to go before its deadline, but donations have pretty much stalled. I think people willing to support projects such as Double Fine Adventure and Wasteland 2 out of nostalgia for old-school games owe it to themselves to have a copy of this book so they can see how far the industry has come since it started. Backing it for at least $40 will get you an eBook copy and $10 more will get you the actual hard copy of the book.
Not that Rockstar needs it, but I'd love to see more Red Dead DLC set in the world ala Lost and the Damned or Ballad of Gay Tony. Also BattleBlockTheater from the Behemoth and Retro City Rampage need some funding to help them finally come out. Whatever Supergiant games does I will fund.
