Just wondering who's downloaded the app so far and what you think? I think it's great :) Just loving the fact I can go anywhere and still have this huge database at my fingertips.
no your not, it's free to use the browser and go to the website on your blackberry. spending 1.99 on an app that should be free is just stupid. BUT with that being said- knowing that the money goes directly to the GB staff and crew, 1.99 is a small price to pay.

I'm all for "LOL iPHONE!!! LOL" but Apple only takes a small cut of the profits on Apps, much like MS and there community games, 30 - 50% usually if I remember correctly. Which is about the same as any product these days, heck even games the publisher only sees 50% (more often a little less) of that $60.
If I had an iPhone I might buy the app, but i'd rather just donate $2 to GB directly, or buy some merch from their store. I don't have an internet capable phone but I dont need one because i'm never travelling.
No access to the community stuff, which is the real meat of the site for me, but I don't mind showing my support by buying this, even if I don't plan on using it much. The video integration is a nifty piece of engineering though.
I'm not sure I can install it, because I'm still using the 1.1.1 software... It may finally be time to restore and update it. I never really use that NES emulator, anyway...

It's an official GB iPhone App dude :) They've been going on about it for ages now.
@The_A_Drain: Yeah I just saw the article too. Damn now I feel like the party pooper. I won't delete my posts because I still think it should have more, but knowing the money will go to the site it makes it all better. Plus with a commercial like that, how can I not buy this? Thanks A_Drain. :)
EDIT: Plus I do like the fact that I'll be able to view videos, that is indeed a good deal.
I've edited my previous posts to make me not sound like such a cheap ass. ;-) 1.99 isn't so bad, knowing the the GB crew gets it. My apologies for coming across like an ass.
