Why no Dave in GOTY?

I'm pretty sure he meant a top ten list, and I agree! I wish he'd made a top ten list, but maybe he felt he didn't play enough games this year to justify making a top ten.

I think dave mentioned he'd have a hard time picking 10 games; I believe he didn't play all that much this year. I wish he had reviewed pripyat though.

I'm sure Dave was up to his ass in work across the board at Whiskey Media, so taking the time to film a video would have probably not been possible. But hey, he got his own category!

Dave has done Quicklooks and reviews before. I think Dave is whoever he wants to be when he feels like it.

"Dave isn't a ..." is a  bullshit dismissal of the question. If you look at the people who created top 10 lists, many of them are not staff, or GiantBomb or even Whiskey Media. I've never even heard of Zodiac Motherfucker until they posted his list. No one is suggesting Dave should have been in the 8 hours of deliberations or he deserves his own top 10 video, but he is as well known on GB - if not more so - than many of the people they did get a list for.

Why the hell wasn't Dave given a Top 10 video this year? I need to know if there's some half-broken PC sim title out of Croatia that I missed or something.

 Maybe we'll get Dave to explain his position one of these days. The short version is that we offered, he declined.
 

His awesome list would have made everybody else feel insecure and inadequate.  Quite considerate of him if you ask me.
