The hold-and-release thing is very reminiscent of the SSX jump prep before a ramp. The influences in this one are really strong.

What if I pirated Bike 2 before the announcement?

If ladder climbing is implemented in a later date will it include a feature in which upon reaching the top of the ladder a section of the map is filled in. I hear this mechanic is quite popular.
