I can't decide if he's the Kendrick or the Kanye of Videogames. But he's not the Drake, that's for sure.

Definitely not the Kanye, that's an angry manchild like Phil Fish. And he's definitely not Drake cause Drake's just a boy from Canada making music. Maybe of the 3 he's Kendrick but I think Kendricks overated as fuck so.

If you want an actual truthful answer to this question I'd say Jeff's closest to Kendrick. He doesn't have Kanye's egomania and none of Drake's sentimentality.

The options don't make much sense as there isn't a good comparison to be made between any of the three. At best, I'd say he's Kanye without the ego with elements of Kendrick. Jeff is Jeff though and that's why we like him.

Edit: It's probably better to compare him to a critic of music. He's like the Robert Christgau of video games or the Roger Ebert of video games. Something like that. I don't think either of those comparisons are good either but they make a little more sense.

@counterclockwork87: I love Kendrick, but nope. You can be a fan of hip-hop and still not like Kendrick. Kendrick can come across as extremely polarizing. Some fans of hip-hop, for example, may prefer Freddie Gibbs over Kendrick, two completely different styles, but Freddie is still hip-hop.

No, but we're talking about three important/influential names of modern Hip-Hop and reducing them the way he did is either showing how little someone knows about the genre or not liking said genre at all.

Even people who don't like them but like the genre can acknowledge how big these artists are. For example, I don't like every song Kendrick ever made but, as @counterclockwork87 said, his latest album is already considered to be a classic and shows a craftsmanship in lyricism that only a few have.
