Wow! I think GB needs to host a weekend self-esteem building workshop. We can do it somewhere in the Marin Headlands. Or maybe at Point Reyes. We'll perform trust exercises and practice positive self-image interaction. When its over, we can pass out congratulatory cerficates of completion. I think it would do everyone a lot of good. I feel unsatisfied with myself right now because I have some lofty goals I haven't completed yet. But in the implied context of the question, I have to lean A, though at times I can cover the complete spectrum.

I put myself in B. I haven't done much with my life yet other than go to school. As such, I haven't contributed much. But I don't hate myself for it, so I picked B.

They are not extreme at all, you are trying to twist them out of proportion, take the options at face value, don't pay attention to my definitions of the options.
