I hate his elitist personality, but I sure like his music. I like his more personal tracks, where he is talking about his life experiences. He is actually pissed in some of his earlier tracks, and the only other rapper I could think of with that kind of real anger in his tracks is Ice Cube. Not that I'm comparing the two...

I think his first three albums were all phenomenal (though Marshall Mathers LP remains my favorite), Encore was a travesty, and Relapse has some good songs on it.
Some of his music, especially the stuff on Marshall Mathers is great to listen to when you're pissed off (The Way I Am, Criminal, Marshall Mathers, Kill You). I like the darker Eminem much more than the "Just Lose it" Eminem, which was what made Encore so shitty, that and the lack of a Ken Kanniff skit.
I felt as though Relapse was a step in the right direction, certainly lightyears ahead of Encore, but that fucking accent he's been using isn't good. Tracks like "Insane" and "Underground" (the latter of which sounds like Criminal in the intro) show his darker side (3 AM is too tongue in cheek) and Old Time Sake and Must be the Ganja are great songs to listen to when you're high.
I can't stand Eminem. While I don't harbour quite the same level of "walk across the street to punch him in the face" contempt for the guy that I do for, say, anyone involved with ICP, sometimes that line gets awfully blurry.
