I tried it a few times, each ending in disaster so I stopped doing it now. Though adding fruit to Weetabix or honey/jam to porridge is lovely.

Nope, I've tried mixed cereal a few times and I did not like it.  Maybe, I mixed bad flavors, but I prefer to keep it single.

All the awesomeness of cereal is already mixed in at the factory.

I actually started doing that late last year. Kind of a half and half, then stir 'em up. They have to taste slightly similar for it to taste right.

Only when one cereal is about to run out. I don't want to have my bowl look too empty so I just pour in the new cereal.

I don't normally eat cereal. I actually haven't had a bowl of cereal since my freshman year in college (2 years ago).

With that said, I would sometimes mix my cereals, if they were similar flavors. Specifically I would mix Rice Chex, Rice Krispies and Kix together in one bowl of crunchy, somewhat bland deliciousness.

Nope, but I used to mix my soft drinks at the self-serve stations of restaurants.

Actually, thinking back to my childhood there were occasions that I'd mix something like Fruit Loops and Cheerios but that was mostly because I ran out of one type and there wasn't enough for a full meal.  I doubt that's what this topic is about.

These days, however, I can't recall the last time I ate cereal.  It's got to be 7 or 8 years ago at least.

I did it a couple of times when I'd have breakfast at the school boarding house due to commitments before school, but it wasn't always as tasty as I thought it might be. Nowadays I rarely buy multiple breakfast cereals anyway. Maybe when I'm almost out of one particular cereal and need something to top it up, but otherwise no.

If I have a little bit of each cereal left I'll mix 'em up, but I don't do it often enough to actually have a favorite combo.

I would if we had more cereal available in our household.  I also enjoy mixing sodas in those distributor machines in fast food places.

I never do it by choice, but I will totally mix my breakfast if it allows me to get rid of a box.  I hate having a half full bowl.

I haven't done it in a while, but used to do it all the time when I had roommates, and a larger variety of cereals in house.
Cinnamon toast crunch and Cheerios were the shit thoug.

Yes, but only if I am running low on one and have to open a new one. Sometimes the combos are horrible though. Like Raisin Bran and Captain Crunch.

Always have, and I'm shocked -SHOCKED- that so many don't. Especially with those really chewy, crunchy cereals - they go well with all-bran or corn flakes, or some neutral, staple cereal.

Only when I run out of one. So it's like one cereal's dusty, crumbly bits, mixed with a few Cheerios or something.
