Seriously.  Oh well, no shortage of arguments on forums, this way.

I'd add:

The Who -- "Baba O'Riley"
Iggy Pop -- "The Passenger"
Godspeed You! Black Emperor -- "East Hastings"
Radiohead -- "Let Down"

Actually, there are, like, four songs by The Who I could suggest for this list.  Possibly some classic rock, too.  Rolling Stones, for instance.  Even--gasp--early Aerosmith.
