Yeah I posted about that in Roll Call earlier, I was confused. Judging by the musicians there I don't think teen's have very good taste in anything these days.

The difference is that adults have a sense to realize when a movie sucks. Teens don't understand and therefore don't appreciate complexity. Besides, look at Rotten Tomatoes. Sometimes critics are wrong, but not now.

Hancock won for only won reason Hancock=Will Smith=Fresh Prince of Bel Air and thats it but who cares about teen choice awards or VMA's anymore the demographic that controls the votes are mainstream.

STOP GENERALIZING THAT TEENS ARE STUPID. Just so you know most of the teens that watch TCA are girls because most of my female friends watched it and the guys didn't . The girls I know are scared of the Joker and didn't want to see that movie.
lol. a lot of little kids (because you know damn straight that aint teens choice, more like 10-12 year olds thinking its cool because it says teen when no teens are actually watching it) liked Hancock and didn't like The Dark Knight so much. TDK was definitely a more mature film for a more mature audience.

he didnt really generalize people. TCA gets votes from a large group of teens (mostly pre-teens really) and thats the results they came up with. so its safe to say his remarks were pretty accurate. get a large group of teens and you might get the same results.
seriously you guys, how many "teens" ( that is, between 12 and 20) actually watch this show. more like all the votes came from 10 to 12 year olds.
mtv movie awards, albeit still ridiculous and bad winners most of the time, will undoubtedly chose The Dark Knight but Iron Man is definitely going to compete
