Harry Potter or Twilight (Movies)

 NUMBER 83 HERE! I choose Harry Potter over Twilight any day cus Twilight has more estrogen in it than a birth control pill. So whats your all choices and personally I think you a sucka if you chose Twilight.

I don't find harry potter the best movie ever either, but Twilight's teenager fans make me hate the movie.

Harry Potter isn't the greatest but anything is better than Twilight.

Harry Potter. Though I have to say, vampires that glitter in sunlight are pretty amazing. Most vampires experience some form of pain under sunlight, but these guys GLITTER.

Harry Potter, definitely. I've enjoyed the last couple movies, and the first ones, I did enjoy at the time. But being a bit older now, its much harder to appeal to those. Order of the Phoenix was a decent movie to waste some time with though.

They're both god awful crap aimed at stupid kids.

The Harry Potter books were OK, the movies suck cuz Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are shitty actors and annoying spoiled brats to boot (Rupert Grint's OK though); Twilight however is 100% for pussies the movies nad the books both suck, they are ridiculously  clichéd plotlines comprised of very un-subtle psycho-sexual metaphors which can be summed up in one sentence: Teen girls want sex, but are simultaneously disturbed ny their sexuality, therefore males are attractive and dangerous.

I hate both and wish they would die but if I had to choose one it would probably be Harry Potter.

Harry Potter is highly preferable to Twilight.

Even if you dont like Harry Potter that much, its not even a competition that its far better than Twilight.

Back when the the whole Harry Potter movie craziness started, I didn't pay much attention to it. But I ended up seeing Prisoner of Azkaban in theaters and thought, "hey, that was actually kinda cool," so I read the books. I think it's a fun series. Nothing extraordinary, but I appreciate the mass appeal.
 
As for Twilight...I do not even acknowledge its existence.

As much as I hate to bash things because they're strikingly effeminite (sp?) and off of the fact that I haven't seen them, I'd have to go with the Harry Potter series because it's proved to defy sequel odds and remain good throughout, mostly due to the source material. I haven't seen nor read anything Twilight, but judging soley on critical reception I don't seem to be missing much. The subject matter never really interested me either.

Twilight is wish fulfillment for loser girls. Harry Potter actually has an interesting narrative. The Potter movies range from competent to good but don't really transcend the source material. The Twilight movies are supposedly much better than the trash they are adapting from.

As much as I dislike Harry Potter, it has a pretty interesting story and some of the books are readeable. Twilight is just garbage.

Which one of these girl oriented franchises is it more socially acceptable for men to like? Harry Potter, its been around longer. But they were both written with girls in mind. Rowling wrote her book after her husband left and its very clearly lonely spinster fantasy at the core.

I prefer Twilight, but to be honest I have seen all the Harry Potter Movies and enjoyed most of them so...

Harry Potter for sure. the books are 5x better then the movies too

I never seen or read Twilight, but I am thinking of watching them for laughs. Still, from what I heard, it all sounds like some teenage girl's erotic fantasy, without the explicit sex scenes.
