Have you ever felt like you have nothing to offer to society?

I try to do my part but weather or not it has any effect isn't for me to worry about.

What has society done for me lately?

Without sounding too pitiful, all the time.

I KNOW I have nothing to offer and I'm completely fine with it. 

I bet every President of the United States has felt the same way.

yeah, i feel like i should do something for people but don't. i do help my friend and family with stuff but that's about it.

I pay my taxes, I do my job & I haven't committed any serious crimes so society can stay the F**k out of my way.

I don't worry about "society".  It's too big for me to be concerned with, so I concentrate on what's local; friends, family, community.  I can only hope that my efforts there trickle down to society. 

I can;t even do something to help myself, let alone the great human human society as a whole.

Occasionally, but for the most part I feel like I have plenty to offer. 

See, I'm lazy. Smart, but incredibly lazy. So I spend way too much time playing games. Unfortunately in order to apply the knowledge that I have gained from playing games...I have to do work. and the problem with laziness is that most lazy people are too lazy to do anything about how lazy they are.

But hey, I have a project in the works so I guess I might be good for something.

I don't have grand ambitions, but the biggest thing that keeps me going is the prospect of looking back one day near the end and seeing what I have wrought. Until then, I'm working in order to make my being here a positive thing.

I guess for me personally, I am not really one of those type of people who brag a lot or am super competitive.  I don't know if it is because I feel this way (outside looking in aka I might have something to offer, but really don't know yet), or if I just don't really have much.  I have always been kinda an introvert as far as my expressiveness goes.  My art I keep in notebooks and in PSD files in photoshop, journals and writings never get published anywhere but in my word docs, my photography I usually just do for myself, ect.  I kind of do things for myself just to throw my thoughts onto a physical medium just for me.

I have plenty to offer society. Unfortunately society doesn't want what I have.

Fucking society, your loss.

I have to say that I have a fair amount to offer that the world is willing to accept.

Its the big things that I really have to offer that the world won't accept. The way I see it, the world pretty much sucks. I think human potential is wasted on the societies we've built. I suppose that deep down, I'm a bit of an anarchist.

Hellll naw. Don't you serving wenches get paid by the hour? Get fucked if you think I'm gonna pay for a meal that already takes into account tax, labor, and the server, and on top of that another government tax. And then give handouts to a person that walks from point A to point B for living. "

Sometimes... But I think just by not being really stupid or a drain on society I'm contributing in some small way. At the very least I'm not making the world a worse place to live, and that's enough for me.
