Hey GB, what is the longest your hair has been?

Here you go peeps, how long have you let your hair grow? Perhaps tell us why you prefer it that length. Was it by choice? Has it changed much over the years? Obviously there's a wide range between these, so feel free to comment about your specific situation.

EDIT: Okay, you are kinda lacking in middle ground between some of the pictures but uhhhh, I've been slightly shorter than D. It kinda just reached my shoulders. My hair atm is a bit longer than C.

D. I'm from the 80's . Glam Metal was king. So if you wanted the pretty girls in spandex............................... you had long hair.

Somewhere between C and D, except on my face.

I like to let it grow pretty long and shaggy and then I do a really short haircut and let it all grow out again.

Keeps the style fresh.

Grew my hair out to 15 inches or so and then gave it to charity.

Min is between D and E right now. My longest dread strand is 20 inches.

Closest for me would be E. Mine is just about to my knees and that's the way I like it (uh huh, uh huh).

There should be a picture with an hair length between C and D, cause the difference is just way too much. So yeah, my answer would be C.5 ^^

I voted E, though not quite that long but really its been down to my bum at one point.

You need a middle ground between C & D. I went with D just because.

Had it a bit shorter than D in high school, just about reached my shoulders.

Have it between B and C now, but if I thought I could get away with it I'd shave it. Sadly my girlfriend won't allow that.

This but my hair totally isn't longer than C, my hair is closer to A atm.

Between D and E.

Longest it's ever been is between C and D, now I try not to ever let it get longer than C.

D and it still is...for now. I'm thinking of trimming it down to shoulder length.

I guess I'm somewhere after D. This is current.

Between C and D, it was long enough to put in my mouth.

I also had a large beard that could reach my mouth. I looked like a hobo.

@JOSHardson: Ah, nothing interesting. It was such a hassle to maintain and made sleeping harder than it should be.

The longest was a bit longer than C. I have very wavy thick hair so I prefer it much shorter since it's easier to maintain and looks much better imo. Right now I have the length and similar style of B

Longer than D but not E. It reached down to my ass, but after that I shaved it all off and now I am eternally A-B range.

I just prefer that look, especially after losing dates because I had a longer ponytail than those girls.

The longest my hair as been between C and D. I let my hair grow out for a year and I saved some money. It was a liberating experience for a while. I had to cut my hair to look more professional at work. My hair got uncomfortable during the summer while living in Texas.
