Okay, I may be totally wrong, I think it's 172,000, not sure how I got 260,000, but still!
This changes everything, Jon. How do you make this mistake? Just kidding. That many posts is just insane.

nerd judging nerds judging nerds! where does the cycle end!?
I genuinely feel sorry for the loss of time that could have been valuably spent that this person frittered away on posting on an internet forum.
I think that the Comic Vine staff interviewed him a while back. If that's his thing, then more power to him.

But the same can be said about people who waste time playing video games.
That explain why Tony and Sara know more user names on their site than the Giant Bomb crew does of their own forums. I been listing to Comic vine podcast for a while and they seem to recognize usernames when they answer e-mails. I think the number you saw were forum views. The person who has the most post was 170,000. Comic Vine has two users that have more than 900,000 wiki points.

Wait, people actually pay attention to post count?
Well, I guess when it's that large it catches the eye.

Games are more fun though, and they improve hand eye!

@big_jon: They probably have the word "This." on a Function Key Macro.
This.
ComicVine has a ton of game threads. By "game" I mean "what did you last watch/read/play" and other such threads, like "what grinds your gears?" and "what's going through your mind right now?". There used to be a lot of chat threads, too, where people could talk about whatever, and let's not forget about battle threads. I don't know if those are still around, but still, not that inconceivable to get a post count into the hundred thousands when the site's been around for six years or so.

I remember when I was #1 on Giant Bomb. Damn that three months of unemployment and no internet access!
If you'd had internet, you could have been on top with all that free time.
(Says the guy who does most of his posting from work >.>)

That's what they want you to think, actually it's an evil viral plan to take over the world.

Yeah, let's make this thread about what it's really about. Video games > comic books.
lol cumSimple. Like Giant Bomb and most internet forums. People don't post actual thread posts or engage in discussions. But instead spam the first thing that cums to their mind.
That's not a post count, it's a comment count. Also a sign of autism.
