it depends, if its something where I am still vulnerable... maybe not. Don't want the government finding out and tranq'ing you while you are walking somewhere and then keeping you locked away performing crazy experiments on you for the rest of your life.
I would probably still tell my two closest friends/ immediate family though, its not like you can't trust em.
Nope I don't like the idea of the government coming after me and my family. Plus if I said anything people would probably figure out it was me robbing all those banks at night.

The idea of getting swamped by people would encourage me to keep it a secret, but then again what fun is being awesome, when nobody knows your awesome?

People might figure it out after everyone I hate starts turning up dead from Awesome Laser Eye Death, but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to tell anyone, no. :3
If my super power is being a chic magnet, then what's the point? Girls would want me so much to care and guys would be the villains because of jealousy.
Depends on the power. If it was something I could exploit in my goals to rule the universe then it would inevitably need to come out. However if it was something lame like I poop hamburger or can turn my boogers into candy then no I wouldn't.
@AlfredCapone: Hell no I would be robbing banks like crazy. That is why I wouldn't tell anyone I would be afraid someone would piece it together eventually. Might even still some crazy relics from museums for my own personal collection. Eventually I would use my powers for good but I have to stack my money first.
Only Stan Lee. I think he would be overjoyed to meet someone with real superpowers and he is so old if he tells anyone they will just think he had finally lost it
I'd tell people I had superpowers that I didn't actually have. Then they'd think I was nuts and would never think it was me when amateur video of a guy who looked like me was on Youtube lifting a car off an elderly lady, because I'm "That crazy guy who says he can turn himself invisible." Perfect cover.

If you had super powers you could tell the world, that no one would believe you. And even most people after seeing you perform would still deny it. ahaha
People don't like to consider anything that goes beyond their safety boundaries, and probably only do it when overwhelmed by it, or when they choose to embrace it.
@Jeust: I wouldn't tell anyone. If super powers existed, then I couldn't possibly be the only person with them. The government would know about super powers and would attempt to capture us or recruit us.
No. I'd still end up just sitting on my computer on the internet, so the only people I could tell are internet people, and I don't think they'd believe me.
