The food has to be created in that country, so you cant say "American because we eat all types of food!," when in reality America has like... hotdogs.
I would have made a poll but there are so many nations of food I didn't want to make 50 options.
For me its Italian. And I have to say pizza is low on the list of my favorite Italian food.
If you had to choose one nationality of food what would it be?
Scottish, we eat a lot of meat and potatoes (also haggis, neeps and tatties (which is potatoes)). Its a lot of plain potaties (though it is populer in many countries not least Ireland its also part of our culture). Also Scotch Eggs, I doubt they were invented in Scotland (though they are deep fried......) but they are awesome :)
Chinese food, not that crappy Americanized chinese food with chicken! That or Mexican food... any type of Mexican food. Ok, that is essentially two, but I can't choose between them.
Chinese. And honestly, I don't give a damn if it's Americanized or not. It still tastes delicious going down.
Chinese is the only right answer. Everything else has stand out meals but everything Chinese i've had has been great.
apparently Italian is the overwhelming favorite.
Nothing beats lasagna! God, the noodles, the cheese, the meat sauce, everything about it is pure awesome!
thiisss is freakishly hard! I love all kinds of food but if I had to pick before I was a vegetarian
I wouldve stuck with puertorican food (Im mostly puertorican) and the foods freakishly good! *droolz*
but since Im not a meat eater anymore then I guess I'll go with Italian..
I loooove pasta!! diff types of noodles and lots of diff sauces!
yumo! *slobbers*
I would have to choose what us americans call "Chinese food" I know it barely resembles anything that is actually consumed in China but, it is damn good.
I will go with American food, despite the protests of the thread creator.
The culinary luminaries of the United States have adapted Chinese, Indian, Thai, German (see hotdogs), Italian, Mexican, Viet Namese, Korean, French, Halal, and Kosher food, and produced them more affordably, and in greater quantities than ever imagined.
Americans didn't invent any type of food, but they've made every type of food better. This is why I will deferentially (because I'm not American, despite what many in these forums seem to think) and defiantly answer "American food".
Though if you're going to be a real dick about it, I like American adaptations of Chinese and Italian foods most.
" I will go with American food, despite the protests of the thread creator.I just didn't want people to say American as a cheap way to opt out. Your answer however was well designed so I accept it.

" @Suicrat said:I've had BBQ on pizza before. It was at a local pizza place and it was awesome!" @Cloneslayer: Fair enough. By the way, who else thinks we should start fusing American Italian and American Chinese food? I would LOVE to try a Barbecue Pork pizza! "
