Looking for an anime to watch

Ive just finished watching Persona Trinity soul anime, it was great. Now i dont know what to watch next, my friends tell me to watch  naruto, bleach and death note but they dont interest me. Im looking for one that is based in high school since im a big persona fan. Any suggestions.

I'd say that Bleach is ok, but it seems a bit overrated. I'm not through the first season yet and while it has its moments I hope it gets better.

For a great deal of responses and for good help on this. Try going to Anime Vice, Giant Bombs sister site. But to answer you question, I really don't know any. I used to watch Case Closed . But it is no longer shown anywhere but Japan. That used to be my favorite show ever.

Check out Full Metal Panic if you want something action packed but with high school elements.  Or try Tenjho Tenge for some high school martial arts stories, although the series feels unfinished to me.  A more complete martial arts high school series is Yu Yu Hakusho.   Love Hina and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya if you are looking for something sweeter and with less punches in the face.  Finally, I will recommend my favorites of One Piece (only get the fansubs), Martian Successor Nadesico, the Slayers, and Last Exile.

Lol, the 2nd poster suggested Bible Black, thats a hentai. I don't suggest that at all lol.
 
I found the persona anime to be really hard to follow, it kept throwing all this random shit at you and making no sense of anything, I am like 3 episodes away from the end and I probably wont ever finish it.
 
Check out Code Geass, its an amazing anime. Death note is also good but Code Geass has action in it as well as crazy storyline and tons of twists and cliffhangers and crazy stuff that makes you shout OH SHIT all the time.

Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are the best animes I have seen.

School Rumble, Hayate no Gotoku

I'm watching Wolf's Rain right now, and its good. 
But i would recommend: Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy bebop, Death Note, Gundam wing....

Full Metal Alchemist definately.

It may not be High School stuff, but you could try the old Gundam trio Gundam, Gundam Z and Gundam ZZ. 
If you dont like old animation, you could try Gundam 00. 
If you dont like Mechs, but want something with action, try Sengoku Basara. Or if you want, Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles).

Try Paprika... It's really out there and has great animation quality. It's a movie, not a series though.

Based in high school... Bah...

FLCL... Elementary School kids, but hey its school. And the show is rather insane, the FLCL style is used in a lot of other cartoons like Aim for the Top 2!, Dead Leaves, RE: Cutie Honey, and Gurren Lagann.
 
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei... High School... er... Insanity. It pokes fun at the silly aspects of High School Anime  but also embraces it to a totally different level.
 
BECK, its more about the band, but its basically High School Drama. Loved it, though the broken english on some characters just suck.
 
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is good, I think it's a bit over hyped, but overall I enjoyed it a lot.
 
Nodame Cantabile, set up is in a Classical music college, but it's school. Hilarious.
 
 
Bleach and Naruto is well... Pretty much Dragon Ball... Bleach is nearly full action, Naruto is pretty EMO. Neither are that good, its meant for kids, so don't expect much.

These are all good choices, still thinking which one to watch. I watched school days to pass the time, it was awesome. Any other anime similar to that. 

Monster, Cowboy Bebop and One Piece are awesome!

Code Geass, If you like giant robots being piloted by high schoolers.

Devil may cry , not high school stuff but it is still fun !
