No disrespect i hope he gets some peace, where ever he is going ( not implying he is going to hell, i just don´t believe in the whole heaven, hell thing ) he did some good work while he was amongst the living, but i have had enough of Michael Jackson for one week, and i would feel a bit like a hypocrite watching it.

That thing's gonna be so long... you're insane if you watch the whole thing.

So, at what point during the funeral does Jackson bust out of the casket in a flurry of dance? Anyone?

*crickets*. Too soon man, too soon! lulz.

It's also on like, you know, every TV channel known to man. Not watching it simply due to my own personal opinions about some of the choices he may or may not have made in his lifetime. May he rest in piece.

I haven't even been able to watch the news for three weeks because all they talk about is MIchael Jackson despite war, genocide, and economic breakdowns our world is going through. I loved his music, no disrespect, but this crap needs to end.

I didn't mean any disrespect, but the amount of media attention this is getting is fucking insane, isn't it? May he rest in peace, despite his clear flaws.

I don't know how anyone could watch that. All that has been on the TV & Radio for the past 2 weeks is Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson & more Michael Jackson. Sure, he was a fantastic musical artist, but it's just overkill. I can't face another minute of it.

It's more like a concert tribute to MJ. watching it is only to help those who would like to remember him for the good things he has done. The reason it's all over the news is because people are watching it. CNN is boasting incredible ratings due to the MJ coverage. The man, regardless of what anyone thinks of him, was a music legend.  It's no different than when Elvis died because  If we had the sort of media we have today (ie;  internet and tons of TV stations), that too would of been all over the news like this is.  And it's arguable, but MJ most likely had tons more fans then Elvis ever did.  As much as he did and gave to humanity, he deserves the recognition, in my humble opinion.

It's 10,000 times better than that BET Award crap, too. That was a con to get people to watch their shitty awards show.

Flame me if you want, but I speak the truth.

Stevie Wonder did a great job, Usher too.  What surprised me the most was his youngest daughter at the very end. Damn that was not easy to watch.

Tears started welling up, it's okay, we live in a metrosexual age, we can admit to it.

My favorite performance was when John Mayer played "Human Nature" which is one of my favorite Michael Jackson songs and a perfect song for him to play. It was so sad when Paris was talking about her father, I felt so bad for her. Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

It is truly tragic to witness how the media has been attacking MJ ever since he smashed records with Thriller.

One day people like Martin Bashir will get what they deserve.
