Midnight Brown
Alright, im a Midnight Brown convert. Heard brief things about Jeff and his music in the podcasts but ive just got 4 albums onto my ipod.
Needless to say, they will be staying on for repeated listenings haha. I like !!!
I've still no idea what it is. I still thought it was a shit you take in the middle of the night without waking anyone. O_o Someone mentioned "song" though so now I assume it's a band.

le sigh
Educate yourself before more people catch on to your lack of Midnight Brown Knowledge
I'm assuming you're not from the Gamespot era? This is what you missed." @Gizmo: I'm not exactly "home with the downies" I'm afraid. To be frank, the name "Midnight Brown" sounds very suggestive to me so I was under the impression everyone just had some weird fetish. "
I'm going to get lynched for this aren't I? Hanged, drawn and quarted whilst I'm paraded through the streets like an animal. Ugh.
@natetodamax: Ah right I see now, Cheers. I was wondering why everyone liked it so much on the forums. I am a silly sausage!
17 Brown Lies is still one of my favorite albums and never leaves my mp3 player. 2084 and Dope/Revenge took a couple more listens for me to get into them, but I now enjoy them quite a bit. Deadly Electric is going to join those two as requiring me to give it a few more plays to appreciate.
ah man, i remember watching that live, good times" @eroticfishcake said:

I thought, well still think that Midnight Brown is a good name. But i never thought of all the alternate meaning that some of you guys seem to imagine, maybe your taking away my innocence.....

I'm an absolutely huge Midnight Brown fan. There are my favorite band ever. Love them to death.
If anyone else is interested, they should listen to Jeff's former (?) band 'Suburban All-Stars' which also feature Alex and Ryan in a few songs.
I recognised some of the stuff from 2084 that currently been used for music on GiantBomb. It's pretty great, especially offbeat songs :).
Listening to their latest album. DUDE IT'S JEFF RAPPING! I love rap and Jeff, but if I didn't love Jeff I would never listen to this.

But now i know Midnight Brown is some kind of band....
Awesome thread! It made me realize the new album was actually out. After listening to it for the first time I like it a lot although it usually takes me several times to really get into the Midnight Brown stuff (it's only remotely connected to music I usually like). So far "Cop Knife" absolutely stands out, but that might be just because it seems like a stylistic and vocal experiment. "J-Pop XTC Nightmare", "War Without A World" & the title track are also really good.
I don't have a ranking of the former three albums, so I wouldn't know where this belongs in a hierarchy. Anyway, it is already shaping up to be an album I will enjoy quite a bit.
