So basically this is going to turn into a "your most hated (popular) movie" thread? Okay, well I thought Psycho was pretty boring and lacked any sort of tension.

I can say I hate the shit out of Phone Booth...or any Joel Schumacher movie, for that matter. Hell, almost anything with Colin Farrell.
Fuck, I think Phone Booth just might be my most hated movie. Unfortunately...I've actually seen Glitter, Honey, and all of Uwe Boll's movies. Is it weird that I still hold out hope that Uwe Boll will make a GOOD movie?
*Activates Flame Shield* The Lord of the Rings movies. Not even saying that to be controversial, I just really don't like those movies. I think they are boring and lack any real motivation.

Right, but I don't like thinking that people just flat-out suck at things that they do. I mean, Ledger eventually delivered a performance worth mentioning in The Dark Knight. So who knows? If Ledger could finally not suck, maybe Uwe Boll could do it someday. I mean, I hate to say it...but Stoic seems like it could be an interesting piece of work, if it weren't for the rather "shock value" style of the story. Here's the trailer:

I don't know about hate, but I can't M. Night Shyamalan movies. The Sixth sense and Unbreakable were ok, but after that he's been making just complete shit movies.
My most hated movie is definitely the Super Mario Bros. Movie, I mean what the hell? Although I do have to give Uwe Boll quite a bit of credit for creating some of the worst movies of all time.
The Hottie and the Nottie was possibly the most horrible movie Ive seen. Ever. I hate the fact it still exists. Otherwise the re-make of All the Kings Men. Didnt particularly enjoy it - it just felt like they were looking for an Oscar, and failed poorly. Plus Im not really a fan of Jude Law or Sean Penn

I watched the first two movies on DVD and then saw the third one in theaters all in the same weekend. I was bored out of my mind. Not my most hated movie(s), but memorably grating.
"The Fountain", soooo basically Wolverine makes out with a hairy tree in a space bubble, and it shows it's appreciation by bleeding milk. I've studied art for many years, and even I thought this film was just taking the piss.

This & Event Horizon (ooooo Hellraiser in .....SPACE). Horror movies are the most useless , brainless genre in cinema.
I can't say I'm a big fan of romantic comedies and stuff. The worst film I've ever seen was the 2005 Peter Jackson version of King Kong. It just wouldn't end, and the special effects were anything but special IMO.
@dancingphlower: Yes, This. I saw that movie and was like wow Guy Ritchie what the fuck are you trying to say. It was a huge pretentious piece of crap. While I Love his other movies, that one was awful.
Agreed. Also, some of the movies mentioned in this thread as well as this, just don't make any sense. Star wars? LotR? I mean even if someone finds them bad, it can never be the worst thing a person could have ever watched...Try watching hostel and then come post here.
@Csaint: Alright this is my view. Sometimes you have experiences that leave a huge negative connotation attached to something. When LOTR came out, my friends and I all saw it. Everyone came out going OMG THAT WAS MIND BLOWING. And i was like lolwut. I thought it was really boring. They couldn't handled that and basically hated me for not liking the movie. So ever since then I just really don't like those movies because of the negative connotation attached to them for me. While I don't think it is the worst film ever or anything near that, I do think It's VERY overrated, and I don't see what it has to be oscar worthy. But hey I love star wars and Pulp Fiction. It's just i think LOTR fails. But that's just my opinion. I can see though how people can get angry with it though. Like for the people that don't like Donnie Darko, I'd say Fuck you sir to them because IMO it's a fantastic movie. I guess it's just differences in taste and opinion.
