Up here in Canada, Future Shop and Best Buy are having a sale on some pretty high profile EA titles.
NHL 10
NFS: Shift
Brutal Legend
Left 4 Dead 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Each one is going for $40, and at that price, I'd be willing to pick up two. I haven't bought any of these games yet, I've only shelled out for a few XBLA games and got Modern Warfare 2 for my birthday. SO! Which two out of these titles should I pick up, or any Canadians here going to take advantage? I'm leaning towards NHL 10 and Left 4 Dead 2, but Dragon Age and Brutal Legend look tempting.
Sale on EA Games, Which Ones to Get?
Dragon age is going to give you a lot of gameplay for your buck, same with left for dead assuming you have some friends to play online with (less fun with random people), I haven't played NHL 10, but 09 was quite awesome.
And I would say Brutal Legend is a rent, the game is really short, and the RTS on a console is not that great. Also Need for Speed: Shift is not great either.
It's between Dragon Age and L4D2, so it heavily depends on your preference of genre, as those two games are VERY different from each other.
Thanks for all the replies, GB community does it again. I played the hell out of NHL 09, and never played the original Left 4 Dead, maybe I'll pick up the sequel and you guys convinced me on Dragon Age. Its a shame about Brutal Legend, after playing Psychonauts, I was so ready to give Double Fine the $60, oh well.
Left 4 Dead 2 and Dragon Age it is. Thanks!
There's also a sale on store.ea.com for a little while longer.
