Better than the time I got rejected in that sort of situation. I complimented her on something she said in class, and she just stared right through me before walking off. We're actually friends now, and I ended up dating someone else. Walk it off and stay positive!
Quick bit of advice, don't ever compliment a woman unless you're dating her or married to her already. If they are already your girlfriend or wife, then compliment the hell out of them.

I don't want to keep pimping my own work... My ego isn't as big as yours! I've seen it 'in the wild' a couple of times now, so that's good enough for me. By all means though, keep spreading it around.
