Can't grow anything worthy of the name beard. Top photo is from March. Bottom is from today. I'm not working or in school at the moment so I haven't been shaving more than once a week. I will be shaving today though, as I'll be having visiting relatives, and I'd like to look presentable.
Oh man... this was my beard earlier in the year. I currently have about half of that. It's as big as I'd let my beard grow. My hair is also shorter now.
Two recent shots, the beard is about three months deep. It's become a thing of legend on campus.
The hardest part about it is dealing with the hair. If I cut my hair, the beard looks out of place, so I just let it go and always pull it back with a hat or bandanna. If I'm dressing formal I have to pull out the Gordon Bombay slick back as in the picture on top. :D

I lack the ability to grow a full beard yet. It's all just stubble hair right now. Once I feel ready I'll stop shaving and see what I can make. If I have the same facial hair as my Father, I have nothing to worry about.
A beard is the only thing I cant grow. I can harvest sideburns like a motherfucker and my 'stahce is always coming around (as much as i hate it) but I can't for the life of me grow any chin scruff. So I'll post a pic of my good buddy Nathans beard.
@TaliciaDragonsong: There's certainly a lot of chicken scratch in the thread, but, not meaning to toot my own horn, at least my beard has some volume. Theres a few good ones in the thread, unless of course you are expecting a Merlin beard, and then I feel like you're destined only for disappointment.
