One of my bosses gives me shit all the time about the amount of times I wash my hands a day. I have a bottle of dettol hand sanitiser in my car and at work. But the bastards threw my bottle out at work while I was away the other day the pricks and that stuff cost me $10 a bottle. So yes I am pretty particular about washing my hands after using the bathroom.

@artofwar420: Well I haven't been sick in years so its not doing much to me apparently. I understand what you are talking about but I will take a little hand sanitiser over the germs that comes from having to handle a lot of money all the time and other various stuff that I have to due during a normal working day.

I wash my hands about 20 times a day and use purell when I'm not able to. Not because I'm a nut job but because I deliver medical equipment to sick peoples houses.
We once made an experiment in school, where we washed our hands, like we had just been to the toilet. And then we sprayed this stuff on them, cant remember what the fluid was called. But it would light up blue when it found bacteria, and surprisingly there where a lot of blue spots.
So we went to wash our hands a second time, and yes still more bacteria. So you really have to scrum them good to remove most of the stuff on them.
And i'm bummed out about this, but there was this study here, where people took some tests from salt containers and so on, in restaurants. And of course they found both bacteria from pee and fecal matter in and on those.
So to answer the question, yes i do, i wash them, and i try to wash them good every time.

Well your son who is in the marine core who is stationed in Japan should know that the Airforce teaches you to wash your hands after you pee. While Marines are taught not to pee on their hands in the first place, thus elimating the need to wash your hands.

Yeah, that hand sanitizer is actually not all that effective. I mean most of the time the bacteria / virus' on you do nothing because either your body can easily fight them off or they don't attach at the right position(some virus' can only attach to cells inside the nose...stuff like that).
And yes, I at least just use some bar soap and rinse with water quickly. Not anal, but always give a quick wash.

When at home, I don't because...I'm at home so fuck it. When in public, I use this philosophy: Everything in this bathroom is dirtier than my hands will ever be.
Public restrooms are gnarly ass places. Chances are very slim that you aren't going to get anything on your hands. Wash your hands no matter what, it only takes a few seconds.
Pie really does make this thread better. Still, govermentcheese is actually asking a somewhat simple question that might deserve to be responded to in some fashion so I will abide. Yes, I do wash my hands every time I go to the bathroom even if, well, nothing really happens. Cleanliness cannot be overstated!!
Yes. Because the flu season is kicking off, I use my washroom breaks to wash my hands, if I've had a drop fall on em or not, because lots of flu germs are transferred from hands to mouth - Its the best way to prevent catching anything. Being at work forces me to think about that shit since there are so many people.
I always wash my hands after taking a shit, and usually after taking a piss. But I'm getting in the habit of washing my hands after I use the bathroom all the time, whether I piss or shit.
