I know this isn't exactly a burning issue for anyone, but I'm completely stoked, I got not one, but two awesome job offers today in the IT sales field. I'm really climbing the ladder now, this is a great step for me. Needless to say sixteen year old me would be completely pissed that I'm not running around burning down McDonalds restaurants and fighting the corporate machine, but fuck him, 23 year old me has a huge flat screen and sizable pile of games to play on it. I'm off to drink some champagne. For champagne, read beer.

just got back from said beers. spent the whole time dying to come home and finish getting my S rank assassins creed 2. although i have a fridge full of beer so in my eyes it's a continuation of the evening. ish.

as dumb as it sounds, my career path developed from having no clue what i wanted to do. i didn't go to uni because i was so terrified of pigeon-holing myself into some job that i would hate, then i took on a really lowly telesales role basically just for want of a job. luckily, i found it was something that i was good at and really enjoyed doing, and the ball has kind of just rolled from there. you'll find your niche eventually dude.

I agree with you as well though. Pretty horrible day today was. We can commiserate, also by having some of that Achmed Syrah Wine if you like, but on another thread since this is one of celebration.

i don't drive at all so this is not really a concern. i've never understood how the concept of it doesn't freak people out more, charging around the world in half a ton of steel and glass and any random idiot at any time could take out anyone else. still, that's another topic for another thread perhaps.
