I've had a steady girlfriend for two and a half years without having a car, because it's fucking expensive to drive in Toronto. She doesn't think any less of me for not having a car.

This. Girls love motorcycles. And you get a built-in excuse for her to wrap her arms around you. And you can get a really cool one for 3 or 4 grand, then get a cheap, practical car with the leftovers.

Not at all, I'd find any girl interested in me for my car incredibly vain. Taking them out to dinner and talking with them is a much better way to find out which are the better ladies. If the dude's going to get a car regardless, though, then he may as well go for something practical that might be more attractive to practical women, or won't be something he looks at with hate when the car-loving girl dumps him for some other dude-bro.

Actually this thread is pretty funny but when you think about it, I'm still right.
