For me it will always be Cold Case, while the show was extremely formulaic there was just something about it's story lines for period pieces that got to me. Plus the soundtrack was just man, with the crescendo of the story taking place during the music. It was an awesome guilty pleasure.
What is your guilty pleasure TV show?
my gf loves friends. and i have to admit to quite enjoying it too. would never watch it solo. but its pretty funny... sometimes
Real World. It's not the fights or anything or that nature that I like. It's the fact that these people who are supposedly there to 'gain life experience,' or whatever you want to call it, are usually all morons.
"Yo dawg, I've known this girl for like 6 hours and I think she's the one man."
"I don't have a drinking problem even though I always black out and all my roommates are mad at me the next morning."
"This guy I met a week ago is the love of my life even though he's already cheated on me 67 times, fights with me, and says he doesn't love me."
"I have a dark past. I was arrested for jaywalking."
"I have a fiance back home who I've dated for 7 years and we're getting married in 6 months. There's this girl here that I've known for a month and I can tell that she's the right one for me."
...and so on and so on. I just find it fascinating the people they bring on that show because the things they do and say are just sooooo fucking surreal that I wonder how they haven't died of stupidity yet.

I didn't know enjoying Friends was a bad thing, heck I even laugh at Chandlers dumb jokes :(
I've never really liked the term Guilty Pleasure. If you enjoy something why feel guilty about it. It may not be the popular thing among your friends or the general public but you enjoy it. I can't think of a better term as a replacement but that's just how I feel.
That being said I enjoyed the first Michael Bay transformers. I don't really have a passionate remembrance of the 80-90s transformers though.
With TV shows I enjoy Awkward and Threesome.
Supernatural I guess, started out easier to openly like but it's gotten more and more female fan-fic like. Bones is pretty good too.

Chandler's dumb jokes are the best part of the show!
You mean besides the steady stream of anime? Hmm, lately Diners Drive-ins and Dives on The Food Channel and Man vs. Food/Man vs. Food Nation on The Travel Channel. I have a very meek appetite and in real life, I appreciate flavors marginally, but for some reason, I love to watch other people cook and eat. I've been a fan of cooking shows for as long as I can remember, so watching these shows about the best "regular folk" food is pure entertainment to me.

It's a few years old but I don't have a current gp tv show: Gilmore Girls. Love the feelgood mood and the craziness of the town.
This.
Cake Boss.
They clearly try to put all the interpersonal drama crap in it because that's what you do in a reality show, but there is NEVER any actual tension. Occasionally the head of the bakery gets mildly teed off at someone for being slow or making a mistake, but then a minute later it's fine. So the reality show format just becomes a delivery mechanism for footage of whimsical cakes and Brooklyn accents, which is quite enough to entertain me.
I was going to say none, but as embarrassing as this may sound, and I kind of feel dumb saying it, I actually enjoy the two old American sitcoms Home Improvement and Full House, though Full House has some really corny stuff in it. I catch most of the stuff on today, but I don't really care for any of them. I wish they brought back Miami Vice. That would be cool.

I think guilty pleasure implies that you yourself have some level of disdain for the show, but you like it anyway.
