Adidas G2
What shoe brands do you wear?
" i have adio kenny anderson. "I used to have those in green. Loved them, and very comfortable.
Now I wear Sketcher boots / New Balance running shoes / Osiris skate
Yeah, I prefer Converse All Stars or Vans." I'm usually wearing either Vans or Converse. "
I've got a lot of shoes for a guy though: Reebok sneakers for sports, Nike flip flops for shorts, nice brown shoes and black dress shoes for polos or suits respectively.
Just bought a pair of New Balance to replace my old pair of New Balance.
I'm looking into getting some Converse for non-exercise situations, because I'm really not street enough to wear sneakers well. Especially not white ones.
My fresh Jordans that are actually 2 years old, but brand new because I got them almost half off at the Nike Outlet:
The shoes I have on heavy rotation right now are two pairs of Vans Authentics, and a pair of Adidas Sambas and Sperrys
I don't care about brands. I find something that is in my price range, fits comfortably, and then I wear them.
I had a conversation with my brother in law just a few weeks ago about shoes. We were remembering in high school, it was all about wearing the right brands. If your shoes cost less than $100 you were a loser. If they cost more than a hundred, but didn't have the right name, you were a loser. If they were over a hundred, and had the right name, but were from an outdated line, you were still a loser. Ah, high school. When someone else was always picking up the tab for life. Good times...
Now my friends and I have come almost full circle on the subject (well, I suppose the saying should be half circle. Full circle would put you right where you started...) But it seems now that we have finally can actually afford expensive shoes, we're more impressed about one of us finding a pair of nameless boots for $25 that last a year and a half. And we end up making fun of any of our friends who spend even $50 on a pair of sneakers that'll turn just grey and wear out in 6 months. I think I'm getting old. And cheap. But mostly old.
Asics - I'm always on the movie, and asics are great for allowing me mobility no matter the distance or load on my back!
I'm not too particular about the brand, but since about five years or so it's been laceless or bust. The first time I slipped some laceless shoes on was fucking magical. Not the checkered hipster kind of shoes, though. Something normal looking sans shoelaces is what I go for. Preferably black. And long. And veiny.
Black formal shoes. I don't know what brand.
I've only really worn chunky DCs for the last 5 years or so. I have a pair of training shoes for exercise and smart shoes for formal occasions, though.
They don't make dress shoes my size in my price range. Luckily, I have nothing to dress up for, so I'm all set. Which is a good thing, because I kind of don't have any dress clothes, either.
