What will your reaction be if you took a shot of Gin?

I never drunk any gin, but since some of you say it's worse than vodka i might try it one day.
I like meself some vodka from time to time, so gin shouldn't be much of a trouble then.

As an obscure Trailer Park Boys character once ordered, "Gin & Tonic, with a hickory stick!"

First time a had a shot of gin, not much happened. Had another couple of shots, realised it tasted awful and emptied the bottle into the sink.

Any white spirit drank on it's own tastes disgusting. However, gin & tonic is heaven in a glass.

Gin is pretty delicious, don't know what everyone is fussing about here. Vodka and Jager are king though.

I'd probably say something like: "Wait! I'm under the legal drinking age! This is illegal! Oh my!"

As I recall, it was very strong, but the flavor was ok. I much prefer Gin and Tonic. It actually has a good flavor, with the tonic to make it not so damn strong. I like junipers. I certainly prefer the taste of gin to that of vodka.
 
 
And yea, don't hate on gin. Its juniper anyway, not pine tree. Junipers smell better.

I used to drink gimlets from time to time when I used to drink which is gin and Rose's Lime Juice.  They were pretty good, but Rose's has a very strong flavor, so it pretty much completely overpowered the taste of the gin.  I preferred vodka when it came to martinis which are normally 99% gin or vodka with a breath of dry vermouth.  Would I die if I tried it...well, yes but not due to the taste.  Gin just isn't anywhere near in any of my liquors of choice.  Vodka and whiskey take up the top spots.  I also don't like tequila but that is because nothing good ever follows a night of drinking tequila.

I had several gin and tonics whilst lazing in the park enjoying the weather yesterday.
 
It was absolutely delightful.

No big deal. Gin is a good drink when mixed properly. I don't know why you would just shoot it. Its not that type of spirit.

I hate gin almost as much as I hate jagar, both are sooo bad.  I wouldnt enjoy a shot, but a person can drink a shot of anything, although a chaser would be nice, if not it would be like 2 mins of hell, then you are fine.

A straight up shot of gin really isn't that bad.  Try a straight up shot of cinnamon schnapps, that's bottled poison right there son.

@PenguinDust: Gimlets are quite good but it seems like it is a dying drink, same with an Old Fashioned.

I don't like gin that much, but I do like mixed drinks that have sloe gin.

I'd be like, this tastes like ass juice, get me a beer! Seriously that shit's nasty!
