It's hotter than Satan's bunghole right now and my a/c is broken, and today's ER referencing Chie's meat as a way to beat the heat got the juices flowing(see what I did there?), which got me thinking of some of my favorite things to do during summer to alleviate the hot/humid air.  I remember I used to jump through sprinklers and water balloon fights are always a plus, but maybe some of you have more creative summer activities.

Playing videogames with air conditioning with the drapes and blinds pulled.

Up until 1996 I had no AC.  Nothing helps when it's really hot out.  The summer of 1995 I suffered through 118 F heat index.  All you can do is sit and watch TV telling you how fucking hot it is.

Go to the air conditioned  mall with either a book or handheld, buy a 1.50 coffee and sit and either read/ play and drink till mall security asked If I need any help, then go to another mall and do the same.

Don't drink anything until you're really thirsty, then put on some garbage bags and run around the block a few times.

Take a nap in the running shower. Have a radio near by as well.

Get your AC Fixed first off or buy some quality fans.

I loved the summers in south Alabama. I wish I could be there this summer, but I'm taking classes. Sure it was hot and humid, but that's what makes summer so great!

It was 107 degrees outside yesterday, plus a constant humidity over 95% daily. Feels like 125 degrees, but that's the swamps for you. This isn't even July yet. Yet I'm stuck up here in middle Alabama taking classes.
Situated perfectly between the woods and the Gulf of Mexico, Mobile, Alabama offers the best summer activities.

Being one of the top 5 rainiest areas in the country, our summer daytime hobbies were always the same: play video games, go muddin, or drive the 45 minutes to Gulf Shores to go to the beach.
All 3 of these activities include constant drinking.

Here's how we beat the heat:

You had to put a snorkel on your atv? I didn't even know that was an option. Perhaps you should look into one of these.

I live in Georgia.  We have something called central air in every single house.  It feels the same here as it does in winter.
Granted though, I do miss going into a nice air conditioned room from the heat ):

But I could do the same here with my whole house if i wanted.

@Mrnitropb:
Yeah snorkels are easy. Just put it on the air intake, and as long as you're giving it a little gas at all times it won't stall.
Although that would be pretty badass, it's a little unnecessary for the creeks on my farm. They go from 3 feet deep, to 6 inches deep at random parts of the creek.
If we had a lake though, that'd be pretty cool to have something that changes from a 4-wheeler to a jet ski. I bet they're pretty expensive.

I checked, its like $16,000!!! It'd be cheaper to just buy a boat, and atv, and a trailer for each!

Central AC FTW! I just turn it on and play a game. Then, when I leave to get my game juice (Usually Pepsi, Pina Colada or Iced Tea) and/or game food (Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Nachos, Grilled Cheese) the rest of the house is usually a little colder than my room, so I don't have to suffer the heat until I go on the balcony for a fag.
